He stuck his leg out trying to initiate contact against the defender and then fell back softly and under control to mimic a foul. That's a flop. A bad one too.

Arkansas got this. Looks like the SEC will end up with two losses. LSU and Vandy. Hoped for only one but it’s been a good day overall. Long day tomorrow so I’m calling it a night. Good game Arkansas.

Yes he did. He hit the defender with his leg and then flopped backwards. Hence, the flopping call.

I’ve done that exact move many times when shooting a three. You allow yourself to fall back as if you were hit. In my day, you either got the call or didn’t. Now it’s considered a flop and a tech. Good call under the new rules.

Yeah, he fell backward. Never made it look like there was contact. If he had tried to sell contact I would agree.
