I love our team. But we just don't have any kind of inside guy, and that hurts us against teams like Kentucky. We can't outrebound anybody.
We have a great coach and I'm glad to be sincerely excited about basketball again.

Oohh we might get a fight in this UofL/Duke game.
I like this rivalry, and find myself rooting for UL.

I only saw the last 30 seconds, but from reading thru the thread sounds like Bud Walton was lit. I'm glad to see that, and wish Rupp Arena was that way.

Ugh, it was. We sold out most of our games this year, and most fans understand that we simply don't have the talent to expect much more than what we did today.
Excitement is at about a 10 year high right now.

Glad to hear that. I have to admit, I thought Mike Anderson was going to return to you the Nolan glory days, but I think Muss can do it as well.

You all should be a threat in the tournament IMO.

Anderson was an upgrade at the time he was hired. And of course he was a sentimental favorite.
We had been mired in Stan Heath and John Pelphrey years when Mike came home. John fricking Pelphrey was our head coach. (no offense)
Musselman is so much obviously a better coach than Mike Anderson already that it isn't even debatable. He might be our best coach ever when its all over with.
What we've done this season so far is impressive, given our roster. It's exciting knowing what we have coming down the pipe recruit-wise.

So easy for a team with one or two decent big men to overwhelm us in rebounds and in the paint. We are a team full of guards, basically. It'll be tough to find the right matchups to have any success post season.

Good game, Cats!
The moment was too big for Arkansas. Arkansas was cold today.
Still a good game plan. Got Kentucky in foul trouble and had a shot. But when it's a team like Kentucky and your coach is preaching "get to the line" our guys got in their own head. Mason Jones was a non factor. Isaiah Joe didn't do much either. Entire team was cold from the line.
This was a good game for the Hogs to lose. Get a little better and we are in business.

Kinda feel the same way. Muss maximized what he had against the competition with gameplanning and gave us a shot to win. Our guys were jacked out of their minds, because they hadn't been in an environment like that, ever.

I was happy to win playing average at best- especially on the road vs a SEC rival when we were underdog.
I think shooting over out length was a huge issue for guys like Joe and Whitt. Every starter of ours has over a 7 ft wingspan. That’s tough. This really showed watching how many times Arkansas players refused to even try to shoot in the lane.
Big win for us off the cluster with uSC. Withstood run va hostile environment too.
