I guess LSU fans really don't give a shite about basketball. I expected a lot more gloating in this thread by now.

I did my best to turn it into a Miles loving JJ thread.

I guess we have to wait for baseball games to spew venom towards one another again.

Jan 9th was the most humbling experience ever, indeed.

Oh I will be somewhere drunk watching the LSU/Arkansas baseball series. For sure.

Got the sweep in 2011, but I think that was the first series win for us vs LSU in like 6 years.

If LSU (and Arkansas for that matter) could get back to being good at basketball, my LSU anger would never cease.

Is Arkansas ever going to be able to win on the road. Arkansas playing on the road has been laughable the past few seasons.

Arkansas is just a different team on the road. Their bread and butter is hard nose defense and driving to the basket on offense, but this style is much more advantageous at home than the road. On the road, it seems like the refs favor the home teams so we get called for more fouls on defense and don't draw as many fouls on offense - even as little as 2 or 3 calls that go against us that would have gone for us at home can end up being a big difference in the game. Also, we just don't seem as "sharp" on the road - way too many unforced errors that we don't commit nearly as often at home.

Finally, the biggest reason why Arkansas sucks on the road is that they rely on a handful of freshmen. Once this freshmen class gets a full season of SEC play under their belt, I think they will be a pretty salty group at home or away for any SEC team to play.
