Well, there's a lot of teams that don't. That said you can't say with a straight face that this team wouldn't be significantly better under Petrino. I don't buy the overrated bit. There's enough talent there to be good. You're just underestimating the effect of the bullshite the team has been through.

And since we're, ultimately, competing with the best of the best, not having their level of talent is all that matters. Coaching is a variable that can come or go without notice. Coach can die, take a job elsewhere, or Petrino shite up. But if you have the talent, which we don't have, you don't lose to ULM, Rutgers, Ole Miss at home, almost lose to Tulsa at home, get buttfricked by MSU, etc.
