frick bro..pot kettle. I've watched all your games and to say you've run nothing but base is ridiculous. I'm not saying you've showed more than half of your defensive playbook, but one year removed hasn't made that big of a difference. We'll have to wait and see.

We been very vanilla on D so far, why show anything when you don't have to? FYI, our defense ain't too bad though, you'll see.

I'm extremely nervous about this game. I'm worried about our pass rush...if we can't get to the QB, its gonna be a LONG day for the good guys.
Same thing on offense...if we can't generate holes for the backs better than we have, and keep drives alive, it could get out of control...

Bro, your defense is great. I think by the time we play in November, they will be ridiculous. I just think having not played anybody worth a damn is going to hurt ya'll against Arkansas.

I think a key to this game is going to be Alabama getting pressure with just your Dline. If Alabama has to blitz, I can see us going to the short dump passes and utilizing the screen game with Dennis Johnson and Ronnie Wingo. Or using the blitz against Bama with Wingo on a wheel route again, just like last year.

I am interested in seeing how our deep and experienced front 7 does against your smash mouth style this year. This is the most physical front we have had in a long while here IMO. This is a matchup I look forward to seeing.

I'm really starting to feel like this is going to be a really low scoring game. Something like 13-10.

That would bode well for Alabama. Saban-coached teams thrive in low scoring, physically taxing contests.

2010 Arkansas
2010 Ole Miss
2009 Ole Miss
2009 South Carolina
2009 Tennessee
2009 LSU
2009 Auburn
2008 Kentucky
2008 Ole Miss
2008 LSU
2007 Georgia

Are there Saban coached teams that don't thrive in anything?

I've thought the same thoughts. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see both of us undefeated in November. Your fears about Arkansas are the same I have about West Va.

I don't think Saban-coached teams are very prone to make big comebacks. The 2009 Iron Bowl is about the only one I can think of for Alabama during Saban's tenure. The 2010 Arkansas game was another one, Bama was down 21-7 but fought their way back.

If you can get a Saban-coached Alabama down early, you've got a better chance to win rather than go blow for blow with them. See Alabama vs. South Carolina 2010.

If Arkansas hasn't scored 21 by halftime...they're screwed.

Sure they do. I control the tempo and tone of any football game I go to or watch on TV. I can also turn myself invisible.

Alabama's only given up 21+ in the first half twice under Saban.

2008 Utah (Sugar Bowl)
2010 South Carolina

2/57 = 4%

Arkansas's chances of scoring 21+ in the first half are probably less than that, considering the sheer nastiness of Alabama's defense.

Really?? What would that be? That your biggest test to date came against a team that went ahead against Temple with 2 min. to go in the game. We will see.

Ahh, you went for the inverted transitive property after the third week of the season. Very nice.

Dumbass.

i predict at least one hog TD called back. I'll even say that if the game is within 7 points, it will be controversial.
