So are you then. We just didn’t pay 180,000 bucks for a qb when it wasn’t legal.

You don’t think paying for a QB is an SEC thing?

Must be because you’re Big 12

So what you're really saying is you've given up on war eagle winning anything of consequence and just hoping for an upset of a hated rival to tide you over (pun intended) during the off-season? That's what it looks like to me.

What?

It was the barn who cried their way out of Amen Corner. I'm not sure Georgia has lost to the barners since the rescheduling.

It was the barn who requested to play in Athens two years in a row to get it back to normal.

Instead the SEC said, we’ll just move it to October. How is that?

The from the old 10-team SEC that our schedule had every year, and if they are on this year's schedule:

1) TSIO - Yep
2) Auburn - Nope
3) Finish season with:
3a) Ole Miss - Nope
3b) Kentucky - Yep, and
3c) Vandy - Yep

I would also add that I miss our annual OOC matchup with Georgia Tech.

Looking at the schedule itself

1) Chattanooga - If you are going to play an FCS school, at least keep the money in state...so not great...but ok overall

2) NC State in Charlotte - Would much rather have a better OOC opponent...not happy with it...but it could be worse

3) Kent State - When I said above that it could be worse...this is an example of how it could be worse. This is actually the first time we have ever played Kent State...usually, our horrible Ohio team is Akron...Hate this game, at least a 7:45 kickoff will have the temperature more bearable

4) Oklahoma in Norman - Wish it was a little later in the season...but I'm looking forward to the matchup

5) Arkansas in Fayettnam - I'm actually as interested in watching the Kent State game than I am watching us play Arkansas. Hell...I'm about as interested in the bye week as I am this game.

6) Florida - Looking forward to this game and hope it is the 3:30 game

7) Bama - Back to back weeks beating Napier then a hostile welcome for DeBoar would be great. I expect it to be a great atmosphere and probably the 3:30 game

8) Kentucky - Traditional old school game that I look forward to every year...

9) Mississippi State - They've been in the SEC forever...but I've never really gotten excited about playing them.

10) Georgia in Athens - Looking forward to the game based on how successful they have been in recent years...Only been to one game in Athens...but may try to get down for this one as well.

11) UTEP - Are you freaking kidding me...who the HELL would get excited about having Kent State and UTEP in the same season. 1pm game...I guess it will be exciting for the players deep in the depth chart that will be on the field most (if not all) of the 2nd half.

12) Vandy in Nashville - Ending the season with Vandy...like it should be. Thanksgiving Weekend...

"New Auburn athletics director Allen Greene said publicly that it was a priority to get some “breathing room” for his team which has to play both Georgia and Alabama in the final three weeks of the season.

At the time Greene said that it could get done in 2020. I’m pretty sure Greene was not supposed to say that publicly.

So Greene had talks with the SEC office trying to get some relief."

Very excited for the season and schedule. Best since the very early 2000s. Course we may die....so there is that.

Need to go to 10 SEC games.

Agreed - go to 10 game schedule and do away with non-conference. Needs to be shortened anyway with the expanded playoff.

No

Alabama should be playing:
MISS ST
OM
LSU
AU
TN

Every year

The other 10 teams can rotate but those 5 should be a requirement.

I hate it. No Bama, LSU, or Auburn. Yeah, those teams would likely kick our teeth in, but we've been playing them forever. In fact, State was LSU's longest running opponent.I mean, State and Bama are the two closest schools in the SEC. Instead, we get Missouri and Texas.

2nd time in 3 years we have to play 5 home games in a row in September in Auburn Alabama which is hot as frack! No home games in October. This crap needs to stop!
