I think SCe used to play on this Thursday back in the day so they had 10 days to get ready for UGA. I think they usually played a decent team tho.
Ole Ball Coach wanted a coupla extra days to get ready for UGA and see what players we'd have suspended for the 1st 2 games...
Thursday night games were more prestigious then tho....

I pull for every SEC team against non conference teams…the better the record, the better the chance for more SEC teams to make the playoffs. The media is going to put Norte Dame, USC et al in the CFP no matter what. So before the intraconference bleeding commences, the SEC needs to be strong.
