Most UF fans do...the boo's at The Swamp and at the basketball teams national title celebration should tell you most UF fans are tired of Napier and Strick..the homers here may disagree..but it is true. Napier is a nice guy but a .500 coach. We need a new coach badly.

Pretty odd wording. Baugh had 673 yards (5.1 avg) and 7 TDs last season as a freshman splitting carries.

Not a single returning WR had 20 receptions last year.

Our best WR Wilson was injured most of the season. He had 61 receptions and 6tds the year before as a freshman.

Nice cherry picking tho.

All the talent in the world. Now it's time to show what you can do.

Would love to get your take on the gators schedule? How it's set up in particular?

I think Napier and his staff are likely being underrated.
They looked completely dysfunctional at times early last year. But, the in-season turnaround they engineered after being written off for dead was pretty impressive. That plus Lagway being an X-factor QB should give Gator fans hope.

Yea when Mertz started we were terrible, but I think the whole team rallied around DJ. Knowing your offense can score does better a defense. Same as good defensive play usually elevates an offense. When you know the other side gives you a chance to win, you play better. It is natural for most teams.

I don't think they're a championship team - National or SEC - but I think they're trending up. I'm thinking either 9-3 or 8-4 with losses to LSU, A&M, and Georgia - maybe Ole Miss as well*, depending on if Ole Miss is still in the playoff mix at that point in the season.

*All those would be road or neutral-site games. I think that will be their Achilles heel this season.

Lagway and Sellers are the biggest wildcards in the league.

Ty Simpson can suck and Bama will still be good. Gunnar Stockton can suck and Georgia will still be good. Arch Manning can suck and Texas will still be good. If either of Lagway/Sellers makes a substantial year two leap, either of those teams could win the league. I think they've got the biggest potential record gaps. Could see either going 11-1 or 6-6.

I think Florida will be better overall than last year around the QB and I think SC will be worse- but freakish QBs are the great equalizer.

Reed @ Tamu and Green @ Arkansas also have the skillset to just ruin anyones night on any given saturday- but I see them more in the Milroe category. Yea they can beat anyone, but the consistency isn't there.

If Sellers stays healthy there's going to be some big surprise games this year.

USC lost 3 games against good teams by 9 combined points.

It’s the toughest schedule in the country and Billy sucks on the road he needs 9 wins to be in the conversation. For his jobs sake he needs to be in the conversation.

We still have Billy Napier...most of us are in wait and see mode. We have no clue if we will be 6-6 or 10-2.

Why not a forfeited season?

You underestimate the talent this Gator team has unless we get decimated by injuries.

I saw a bit of his coaches show recently and thought he had a Sling Blade vibe to him. Mind you, Freeze is our coach but still...

B2B road games are bad enough. To have 2 sets in one season is criminal. Then there's that 8 game stretch with ONLY 2 in the swamp. I think gators will struggle to match last year's 7-5 especially if lagway isn't a full go by game 3.
