Disregarding problems with the transitive property, I'm not sure this has much value. You're comparing a third game of the season to a 12th game of the season.

I think there's more value in discussing the matchup problems LSU presents for Clemson.

I'd say Oklahoma did a pretty good job of bottling up Chase. Problem is, we've got another 1st round wide receiver on this team.

Exactly. It's the same thing that made Bama so dangerous over the past couple seasons. Just too many weapons. You shut down Chase and Jefferson scores 4 TDs in a half. That's not even including Marshall and Moss. Look at the Iron Bowl. We took Jeudy away, but Devontae Smith scored 5 TDs. It's a pick your poison deal.

Chase? 2 receptions, 61 yards, no td's. 1 rush, 5 yards.

They bottled him up.

ETA: it was Jefferson that went off.

Yeah. And Clyde hardly played. We had almost 700 yards of offense and only 160 was on the ground.

I didn't realize Chris Curry was that fast.

Thanks. My official score prediction is now:
LSU 50
Clemson 24

This seems reasonable unless O wants to prove a point. OU could have easily had 80 hung on them, but CEO ran clock in the 2nd half.

before the Clemson OSU game I thought Clemson was a really good team that just didnt have a quality opponent to play during the year. I always believed that OSU was a house of cards.

After the game I realized that Clemson was not elite, but just a good team. I put them on the same overall level of Florida, Georgia, Auburn and a step behind a healthy Alabama.
