You'd think teams would learn to never take coaches or players from Arkansas.

Our hex game is skrong.

You haven't gotten the full Chaney yet though. You don't get full Chaney until he runs a TE reverse on the 5 yard line on 3rd and goal.

Thank you for the honest answer!

I think Smart still has a chance he just fricked up his first OC hire.

Yup, Enos would have been a home-run hire, IMO and that was his first choice, but the Hawgs were smart.

Chaney is saving this play for a special occasion.

We will see how long it takes Smart to realize it.

Of course, and Enos won't be leaving Arkansas unless it is for another head coaching job. I doubt he leaves for a while though. His contract is up after this season and he will have a boat load of money coming his way here.

At worst you called him a good coach and said you were willing to give him a one year pass. That isn't a ringing endorsement.

I know when I am beat and I don't like to string it out.

That is pretty much it tbh. If we don't make a nice run in the tournament I'm ok with him going

There's a lot more to this story than what is on the surface. A heck of a lot more. If half of what was rumored last year is true, you could make a 30 for 30 over it.

The basics of it is Greg McGarity may have been restricting Richt from making the hires and moves he needed to make as he wanted Richt out of town. The coaching staff was toxic last year, everyone hated each other, and even if Richt was kept, he would have likely been told the rest of your coaching staff will not be retained.

So Georgia's choices this year were:

A: Keep Richt under a very tentative situation where he doesn't have full confidence due to the AD.
B: Fire Richt and not really even have a coaching search as you have your eyes on 1 guy and 1 guy only.

The Cheney hire has been frustrating, but I think the more frustrating thing for a lot of UGA fans is the game management errors that Kirby has made so far. I think some of it relates to Kirby being a first year HC, but there have also been a couple pretty inexcusable errors.

I'm hoping that once the upperclassmen are off the team, we will be more responsive to a new coach. The main positive with Kirby has been his recruiting so far. Unfortunately, if we finish the season like the way we've been playing I'm not as confident we'll close out the recruiting season strong.

Yes, we are still here. And while we may have lost to Vandy, I surely am not going to concede to taking condolences from Arkansas fans. Arkansas hasn't lost less than 5 games since 2011. What a joke.

What does that have to do with the criticism of Chaney?

No shite. We had Chaney for two years and Pittman for 3.
