The NCAA issued a statement Wednesday saying it interviewed more than 50 people to see if Auburn provided Newton or his family improper benefits. The NCAA said it could not find any reason to keep the investigation open because its findings did not meet a "burden of proof" that Auburn did anything wrong in signing the quarterback who led the Tigers to the national title last season.
The committee said it would review any additional information "if further investigation is warranted."

I hope they are cleared. How much worse do we need them to be

Look who is NOT on that list!

AU cheats. Of course they do. They can't keep up with Alabama when Bama is on its feet. It just is what it is. They won't buy their own tickets because most of them are Wal-Mart sidewalk fans who have never attended any university let alone that Aggie School they like.
Oh they say the exact same thing about us?
See how this is stupid.

Interesting that the school that admitted to bidding for Cam and the school that wound up getting him are the two involved in the Memphis deal.

Most Auburn fans are Wal-Mart sidewalks? That's rich.

This probably scores a bunch of points on BOL, but here it's just laughable. Pull the series records for the last 20 something years. Then factor in Alabama's NCAA probations over that same time frame. If anything, Alabama has been cheating to keep up with Auburn. Stats don't lie.

Probably Bama. They are just better at it.
Just looking at florida's past we can see how clean your program is...

So you are saying that the Auburn vs Alabama series over the last twenty years hasn't been even and that Bama hasn't been on probation (5) times over that period while Auburn has not? I guess it's easier to just "el oh el" the facts off. BOL is the place for you.

The only reason It's been even is due to the Means situation, period.

Auburn loves that thug trash.

One last time for the BOL retards:
Since 1981, the series record between Alabama and Auburn stands at: (17) wins for Auburn and (14) for Alabama. Auburn leads the series by (3) over that time period NOT counting the games Alabama had to forfeit. Over that same time period, Alabama has been on NCAA probation (3) separate times and forced to forfeit roughly (30) games. Over that same time period, Auburn was on probation ONCE and forfeited (0) games.
So....... who's cheating to keep up with who again?

Do you seriously not understand the concept of "momentum"? And that Bama is going to win 80+% of the games against the barn for the foreseeable future? Furthermore, I think you can also add in LSU and Georgia at similar rates.
The barn is sliding into, well, maybe not obscurity, but certainly into irrelevance.

You're predicting the future off of current events? Holy shite! I need some Georgia lotto numbers ASAP!
Dude, Saban could go to Texas at the end of the season and Auburn could hire the next great coach. Just because it looks one way now, doesn't mean it's gonna be that way later. Again, BOL is the place for yall.

You could poll 1000 random ranters - and I bet 65% of them would agree with me, 30% would say "who cares", and the remaining 5 % would either agree with YOUR stance or qualify for their respective state insane hospitals.

I bet you coulda found plenty of Auburn people in 2004 that would have thought the same thing. That doesn't make it any less stupid.
