You serious? Ump today had a tiny strike zone, but he was mostly consistent. What could anyone be upset about in today’s game? Maybe the ejection I guess. Seriously though, I have seen a ton of bad SEC officiating and I didn't see any today. Only saw a team that just couldn't get a clutch hit when they had 2 men on base. Seemed like every other inning too. Ugh.

I was at game yesterday. After the game walking to the parking garage there was an older Aggie fan just going off. Talking about umpire cheating and he hated Texas always using umpires to steal games. Nobody really engaged with him. He kept going on about it and finally one Horn Fan called him out. They got into it a bit, I just kept walking and shook my head. Totally uncalled for, win or lose Aggie had opportunities to win game. Had nothing to do with the umpires…

If this was at Blue Bell Park, it would've been a non-stop frenzy for 9 innings

Beating Texas is your raison d’etre … so of course it would’ve been a frenzy. Winning the Best Fans in the World is the only thing in your trophy case, so of course… frenzy.

It’s just not that big a deal.

There is usually a couple of THC vans selling around the stadium, especially at football games

THC drinks are everywhere, most liquor stores have tons of selections, and weed is always plentiful everywhere around Austin

OP is not to far off base

Texas has always been a very weak fan base. Very little school spirit

School spirit???
Really?? Check out our (Texas) merchandizing sales. That is school spirit.

Texas fans want to be there but I admit we have an old money problem with the old fans that use the games as something to show how much money and worth you have.

Lots of old big money but that is okay, makes it less rowdy

Very objective and I agree. Don't love the ejection but it is the rule, if you turn toward a dugout you are going to get tossed.

Texas fans show up to the sports that matter most to them. However, other fanbases in college towns will never understand what its like to live in and have a plethora of other entertainment options other than going to a game.

Also due to the population the traffic to get to a game can be a turnoff.

It just is what it is, same reason the L.A. teams sometimes struggle with attendance.

Texas has a great fan base. Jumping around like a bunch of HS kids blowing bubbles has very little to do with being a good fan base.

Most of the buildings on campus are named after alumni that have given tens and hundreds of $million to their alma mater. That is not a weak fan base.

Texas is in the midst of a $6 billion capital campaign that has already raised over $3.4 B from over 240,000 donors. How’s that for school spirit?

Bill Gates donated $30 M to the Gates-Dell Computer Science Complex. He is not an alumnus, just another tee shirt fan that supports Texas.

Texas built the on campus Dell Medical School while y’all were building locker rooms.

We just have a different way of showing our support.

When you routinely lose to Texas, you come up with all kinds of Stuart Smalley crap.

I’m amazed an Aggie can sleep at all. Must suck.
