And which school that you did not attend are you a fan of?

For me to know, and you never to find out. Stupid Texan. Here’s a hint. I don’t say anything bad about it
So obviously none of your loser state schools in Texas. Go back to Mexico where you belong, fig

I’m not a Texan, boy. I’m a Louisianan. New Orleans born 504 raised. Forever and always.

Then why sully yourself with a Texas school? I have respect for Louisiana
Posted on 4/26/25 at 11:21 pm to NobodyImportant
I applied to Texas, got admitted, enrolled, took classes, earned credits, graduated.
Posted on 4/26/25 at 11:25 pm to LSUTigresFan
I would never hire a Texan. If you are a proud Louisiana boy you have an LSU tag.

You would never hire a Texan to do what jobs?

College of Natural Sciences

Computer Science & Mathematics
I graduated sometime within the last decade. I made this account before I went to Texas.

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering 1995
MBA 1997.
The point is not everyone gets a shot at college. Doesn’t mean they can’t pull for a school. Like Matthew McConaughey.

Im just fricking with him because he is an alter. I get not everyone has a shot. I didn't go back until my 20s. Now I'm about to finish my master's and hopefully start my PhD soon.

There was an Aggie fan yesterday say the umps were good in the game and fair to both teams. now we are getting it handed to us according to a bored alter loser.
You serious?
Ump today had a tiny strike zone, but he was mostly consistent. What could anyone be upset about in todays game? Maybe the ejection I guess.
Seriously though, I have seen a ton of bad SEC officiating and I didn't see any today. Only saw a team that just couldn't get a clutch hit when they had 2 men on base. Seemed like every other inning too. Ugh.

I meant good as in consistent calls for both teams. SEC umps suck as a whole.
but Ridinhigh17 said this,

Some suck worse than others. Jeff has called a pretty clean game in Austin tonight though

That I can always go along with. So after your Masters how long will it take for the PhD? I’m just an Engineer. All the business classes were helpful but overall a waste of time. But if I achieved a PhD I could teach at Universities.

By the way, with all the science and math you’ve taken you can’t be too far away from an Engineering degree.

It would depend on the dissertation. It could be 4-6 years. I'd like to be a professor when I'm older and protect myself from the inevitable downfall of the tech industry job market. Probably something involving both computing systems and machine learning. I have to start looking up labs and potential advisors.
I don't know if I want to suffer through living on a shitty stipend for that long too. I'm burnt out with school.

I'd have to take engineering physics 2, physics 2 lab, a second semester of foreign language, and the engineering classes.

McConaughey is a Texas alum. He also teaches a class at the school.
