Didn’t the tornado take out a lot of the older and junkier businesses in the area. Last time I was there I saw a lot of new construction in the older ugly part of Ttown.

LSU also has to be the largest campus in the world. It seems to go in for miles so it’s easier to be close to bad areas than a campus like Alabama where everything is within walking distance.

Not even top 10 in the US.

Whenever I drive through it just seems so big and spread out. Wasn’t meant as an insult just seems like a large campus to me.

I was kidding. It’s kind of spread out I guess. I’m just used to it.

I think it’s just north of campus, then way north to Southern and Scotlandville. Sometimes it’s a fun adventure going into bad neighborhoods like the one by Doe’s in Greenville MS.

Been to Tuscaloosa and nothing around campus that we saw... felt pretty safe even walking back to the car about a mile South of campus.

Only place in the SEC I have been where I thought it would be nice to have my gun with me was around South Carolina. They got's some rough folks hanging around the edge of campus... or at least they did on our first trip there. Maybe it's cleaned up now.

LSU... I honestly just expect this in Baton Rouge. Never had a problem there really but there are some shady areas close to campus.

MacFarland is pretty bad next to the interstate. Typical west side of city stuff.

That's all commercial. Fast food. Shitty Motel 6's and La Quinta Inns. I know people who stay there every game and they've never said it felt unsafe. That WalMart is horrible though. Even for WalMart it's fricking horrible

Alberta City, nice neighborhoods in the highlands before you get to Alberta City.

Alberta City and nice areas do not go together.

That is like saying Holt has some nice areas.
