I didn't expect LSU to be lower than their AP and coaches spots, but at this point, our ranking doesn't really matter much. Should get a decent bump if we beat #6, and that rank won't matter much either.

Not to concerned with UGA'S ranking. We control our destiny. Win and we are in.

Higher and closer to the title than even later in past years after a loss, so yea all good.

I like the fact that the committee doesn't appear to be caving into the "only conference champions" pressure.
Body of work should be what they base their rankings on and it appears they are following that formula.

You have a better chance of losing this weekend

I guess everybody feels about the same. Win out and you are in. In the SEC west that is absolutely true. I think Georgia would have to win the SECCG to be in even if they win out.
Where I can see it being frustrating is if you are Notre Dame or Oregon or a Michigan state. You could still be left holding your petzel.

You don't know that yet we could see some weird stuff after conf champs are named.

Most definitely....Georgia's only shot is to win out, including the SECCG.

OU lost tight @TCU and by 1 point at home to KSU
LSU got clubbed to death twice, once on road and once at home.
OU lacks the sig win LSU has over Ole Miss, but that game was also pretty close.
makes me think they are basing a lot of their rankings on how strong the teams look against each other in the actual games.

i would love to hear one logical reason how OU is ahead of LSU
really doesnt make sense anyway you think about it, but doesn't matter now

Because OU's losses were really close and LSU got clubbed like a baby seal twice?
I mean, I'm not saying I agree, but there's sound logic in it.

They felt guilty for having 4 SEC West teams in the top 6?
