this isn't even true either. I know plenty of kids that didn't get into LSU and went to Tech. They had 23-25 ACT scores, but they had below a 3.0.

I thoroughly enjoy visiting the SECR for all of my facts

based on the stats provided at Kiplinger, it is. you provided an anecdote.

Do you not understand the difference between best and best value?

That's not an advanced concept in middle school much less the University of Arkansas. Did you actually go to school at all?

Now you can tell your Mom that you got your arse whipped by the second best public university in Louisiana. How proud she must be...

This is a different kind of ranking but it might be something for students to consider when they are considering how much debt they want to have at the end.

The school only gets your first job or two, then it is how you do on the job.

As for comparisons among LA schools

Coming from a student at tech, this ranking is soley of the fact that tuition is around 13k for instate with no TOPS (I'm out of state but got scholarships) and the average income for newly grads is fairly high. This is because it's a small campus (13k or so students), there's a big nursing program and a damn good engineering program, for example I called a chemical plant for a quote yesterday and he said he had never heard of senior design projects being actual projects for companies. He was about to send a team of engineers to work for us and then as for research tech was the first to offer nanosystems engineering yeas ago and the first ever cyber engineers graduated from tech last year. Their grad school gets a lot of good reviews for their micro materials/nano research.
