What is the argument for Alabama over Ole Miss? 5 spots is a fairly big gulf with them being so similiar.

ESPN's SOR actually has Ole Miss higher.

I don't take anything ESPN puts out seriously because they use human influence to get the results they want. SP+ is good, but it's behind a paywall last time I looked and not really a product of ESPN, they just bought it.

I can screenshot the Ole Miss schedule if you want, but it's really that 24 point loss to Florida that's holding them back.

SOR metrics don't often take MOV or location into account.

Looking at F+ wins, they beat #4 LSU, #18 Mizzou, #23 Louisville.

Alabama has #20 South Carolina and #25 Kentucky.

So, Ole Miss has a worse loss, but better wins and a stronger SOS, same record, yet 5 spots behind.

I think I can maybe find some time this weekend to add in the power rating part and get something pretty close.

It would be cool if you did

You're always dishonest, I don't know why I even respond to you.

Also Alabama beat #28 Texas A&M, #44 Miss St, #45 Florida St.

Ole Miss?

#48 Auburn
#71 Vandy

It's pretty common to use the top 25

A lot more common than the "injury vs hurt" designation you were trying to argue yesterday.

Doesn't really matter anyway, Ole Miss' average win is still about 10 spots higher than Alabama's.

Hurt vs injury was is a saying meant to express exactly what I said and is older than you are.

All games matter. You didn't make a list of 25 opponents and run out.

Sure, you use selective criteria to fit your arguments and I do the same for mine.
