That's true, we haven't beaten y'all or AU in a while. However, polls mid-season are all about who you have played and how good you looked. Usually, the polls work themselves out at the end so I'm not worried about it.
BTW, y'all beat a top 10 team on the road and we beat a top 5 team on the road. Both could be considered overrated but I know better. There are 10-11 SEC teams that win on any given Saturday.

This whole discussion is as meaningless as the AP poll itself. LSU is performing above expectations after losing RP. Bama is performing above expectations in general. Both teams are good, solid football teams that are coached exceptionally well.

Auburn and Miss St, 2 teams you lost to last year, as well as losing to us. We've earned our ranking because we're the damn standard for the SEC now in the new millenium. Not you, not Florida, and not UGA.

If you are not... then shut the frick up. Because we SHOULD be higher than your team based on that opinion, because, the norm of the SEC dictates we're the better team. Hell, we've led the head to head with Bama for a quarter damn century. Lot of things can happen between now and 1.5 months.
If you think Bama has equal or more talent, then your opinion should be that Bama should be higher ranked. if that is the case, I guess it may come down to COACHING in November.
So which is it???
And I for one know who the overall better coach is. Saban will get to know Miles very well, like Meyer and Tubby have and just about every decent coach in college football.
Make sure you acknowledge us like we acknowledged you, homer.

Au not being in the ranked in the top 10 is b/c all the professionals see what we see...their offense is lathargic. They cant do anything and they know that when they play someone who has both an offense and a defense (unlike UT) that the game could get ugly. Playing defense in the SEC can only get you so far
