re: Usually, the Truth Shall Set You Free...That Won't Apply to Signal Debacle

Walz admitted to adding the reporter, didn't he? I know he tried to claim that he didn't know who the contact he entered into his own phone is, but he didn't deny adding the reporter.
Walz admitted to creating the group list. An IT person with DOD admin. capabilities could have changed the number for one person's name to the reporter's number. The reporter was added four days before the call, almost as if a dry run was made to see if the deception would be found out.
These are serious people and this is a direct attack on the Trump administration. It was not a mistake.
Usually, the Truth Shall Set You Free...That Won't Apply to Signal Debacle

In a world where everyone wants instant gratification and lacks the patience needed to sort through complex schemes, the Signal issue has been frustrating.
Have no fear. The finest software engineers in the world are working on untangling how this happened and those responsible will be held accountable.
I expect Mike Waltz to be fired. I expect others to be prosecuted for espionage. I expect the Democrats will attempt to blame Trump for making a poor choice for his National Security Director but were hoping for more impeachment material.
Somebody paid for this to be done. It wasn't done for purely ideological reasons. There is no Snowden hiding in the woodpile. There is a reason Trump doesn't participate in those types of calls. He's been burned before.
So, be patient. The truth will come out and somebody will go to jail.

Pay for Play Mitch Landrieu calls Trump "A Traitor To This Country"

Irony Meter Spinning
Maybe, Mitch, will have to answer questions about where all the money went that he was in charge of spending under the Biden administration. Time for DOGE to visit NOLA.

IF Epstein was a Mossad plant, as some have suggested, then Israel took him out to hide secrets.

Trump and DOGE are turning on the lights. Watching the cockroaches run will be fun.
When I attended LSU, I lived on Nicholson in a semi-hood apartment. We had a BB pistol and during TV commercials, we would turn on the lights in the kitchen and shoot roaches as they ran for cover. This was the pre-video game era....

DOGE Information I Want To See Most:
Posted by Original Bayou Boy on 2/8/25 at 7:52 am
Federal monies that have been has been funneled back to political parties and the names of specific politicians.
I want to see people like Samantha Powers go to prison for laundering money. She is a direct connect to Obama.
Let's see how many MSNBC guests have been paid with funds from USAID sources.
There is NO way these politicians can become so wealthy other than insider trading, which they have been doing (see Nancy Pelosi and many others).
It will be fun to see the graft exposed down to the local level as well. Eventually, mayors like Tweedy will be exposed.
The real question will be, how many will be prosecuted and actually go to jail?

Trump will soon be in the same position, though if he wants to truly drain the Swamp, we will all get to see the cockroaches run when the lights get turned on. We are seeing that already.

I know how to punish her.
Make her be a belly dancer for 1979 Fraternity Reunion Parties across the southern United States for a couple of years.
She'll make a few dollars and will only have to endure a series of obnoxious catcalls and crude xenophobic comments. Then again, it beats Federal prison.

Lindy Li exposes Biden White House Operations

Shawn Ryan Show
The Democrats knew for years that Biden was incapacitated and simply covered up for him. Jill Biden was the de-facto President, a scary thought and the country was being run by a group of Biden staffers in their 20's who were trying to re-make America to fit their worldview.
Lindy Li was a top fundraiser for the Democrat Party and a Biden insider who began to leak to the press n 2022 because she actually put Country over Party. Her leaks dealt with Biden's cognitive decline and how he should NOT run for re-election.
She definitely pulled back the curtain on the Biden White House. She named names and was very specific about what she saw, not so much as what she heard. She also exposed the hypocrisy and cowardice of other Democrat lawmakers in Washington who she said view Democrat Party Politics as a religion and like being in a Cult.

That will never happen. Getting rid of truly incompetent doctors is hard enough in Louisiana. The State Board isn't political, in that way.

have his sorry arse defeated in 2026.
I know Bill Cassidy. He's a principled man. He is NOT however a very good representative for the people of Louisiana.
If he torpedoes RFK, Jr. and sets back the MAHA movement due to his arrogance, he may as well pack his shite and head to the house.
There will be millions of dollars raised to defeat him and to elect someone who will properly represent Louisiana in the U.S. Senate. The candidate may not be any of the names that are currently being tossed around but will be someone who is willing to spend at least 5-7 million of their own money and have another 5 million contributed. With 15-20 million, a political unknown could win, with the right image makers running his/her campaign.
Enough is enough. Go ahead Cassidy, FAFO.

Louisiana isn't capable of handling a random Tuesday on its own......at least not competently.
Exactly!
Covid money is a PRIME example.
FEMA PA funds gave schools in Louisiana billions of dollars to safeguard the children from Covid related indoor air contaminants. Only ONE PARISH used it's Covid money to do so, St. Tammany.
The rest used the money to solve budget problems and give teachers pay raises. That doesn't help make the schools safer, one bit.
The same abuse would happen after a hurricane. Each parish, town, city etc. would get an opinion from it's attorney that they could spend their 'money" the way they wanted to.
It's the reason New Orleans didn't replace the pumps after Katrina and continues to repair 100 year old pumps, while hiring employees and paying them overtime to fix broken crap.
Louisiana is corrupt. Not just New Orleans. Then again, if you want to see the same companies getting all the state contracts simply because they are approved and have powerful friends, go ahead....give the hogs more slop to eat in Baton Rouge. Then, go try to find them for answers.

Any idea how much money is available in FEMA Public Assistance grants?
There is no limit other than approved expense categories for governmental entities. Who do you think is paying to rebuild schools in Lafourche Parish destroyed during Ida?
The State of Louisiana isn't staffed with enough qualified people to oversee so many projects, large and small.
Hate FEMA all you want to. A reformed FEMA would be superior to a cluster frick Baton Rouge oversight of multiple disasters, like Katrina and Rita were back to back.

Trump's idea/plan to eliminate FEMA and simply give money to the states to administer would be a disaster for areas other than New Orleans.
Review the FEMA Public Assistance grants that were obtained by New Orleans during Covid or Ida and you'll see that without staff to properly navigate the grant process, money isn't received. Small towns get shafted on a regular basis due to not understanding FEMA rules and regulations.
State rules wouldn't be better, much more likely worse with little recourse for citizens.
Due to the NFIP, FEMA will not be going away anytime soon.
