I see you posted stats to support your narrative. Now post tackles. Also Anderson played on the line and blitzed many more times than Sanders. You also might want to check the sacks total.

TEAM
Anderson defensive POY THIS year?

If we're all honest, he would not have won this if not for last year.

Nobody made a bigger impact in big games on defense than Jalen Carter.

If he was excluded from POTY due to injury then he should have not been included on the team at all.

Tackles? Seriously?

Well, I guess that settles it. Your SEC player of the year is Nathanial Watson from Mississippi State.

ESPN - SEC Sacks Leaders

I checked. It's right. Again.

I don't think anyone would argue with Carter winning it, even with the injury time missed and playing a few games at less than 100%.

People acting like Anderson had some sort of disappointing season because he "only" had 10 sacks and 17 TFL is just silly. Especially considering how he was used by his too smart for himself DC.

I'm sorry, you are saying that the person who knows football is the one arguing that "total tackles" is a stat that equates to elite performance?

I disagree. He missed almost half the season. You can’t win DPOY if you miss that much time.

You need to work on your comprehension skills. Maybe you should check the official sec site for your information instead of ESPN. Compare the total stat lines. They don’t remotely compare. Sorry

Well, he had lots of opportunities to display his skillset.

Good to see Forbes getting some love.

He should have been a Thorpe award finalist.

The literal Arkansas Razorback Football page link to season stats has Drew Sanders with 9.5 sacks. Along with every other stat keeping website other than SECsports, apparently.
