Anyone else think the SEC could get left out of the inaugural playoffs?

No dominant teams this year on paper. Our best QBs are gone, so expect lower scoring affairs which means lots of games will be decided by good (or bad, depending on your allegiance) luck. Last year's best team had the most fortuitous events I've ever seen in my life to get where they got (i mad bro) - expect the law of averages to exert itself. Same team promptly lost the streak, showing we are not utterly dominant, so the playoff committee will not have SEC stars in it's eyes. I can easily see our champ ending up with 2 Ls and getting left out over an unblemished FSU, MSU, and 1 loss Big12 winner and Stanford/Oregon.
Go ahead, let me have it.

In other words, they weren't the best team.

Absolutely they could be left out. Or field 50% of the spots.
Auburn.
Auburn.

Not possible. Someone will emerge.

I contend that all this politicking and talk about SOS is complete bullshite. It's still going to be undefeated... sort. One loss... sort. Two loss... sort.
Why? Because when those ADs/representatives from their prospective regions are sitting around deciding to jump a team with more losses over one with less, they'll all balk because they want their prospective champion to look the best, regardless of "quality wins".
The SEC will be left out if the big 12 Champ, the ACC Champ, the Pac 12 Champ, the B1G Champ, or Notre Dame all have less losses than the SEC Champ, or an SEC division runner up.

How many years in a row has the SEC champ made the BCS championship game. This may be the dumbest thread ever started on here. Yeah let's add two teams and I think we will get left out. fricking clown shoes.

I think it's more likely than having two teams in

Did K. Allen QB your aggies last season ?

Of course it's "possible"
Likely? Not so much
As stated by someone else, someone will emerge. Just because a few teams are starting over with new QBs doesn't mean that any of the other SEC teams won't be a force. AU won it last year and look at how much they have returning.

No, but to say our best QBs are gone is ludicrous when you still have Kyle Allen in the league.

How has that worked out for you?
SEC six teams represented in last five games. Damn, just damn. Still is tough to get there. Those who haven't, comments are comical.
