Auburn fans sound a lot like Mississippi State fans right before our game last year.

I suspect the result will be about the same too.

The only common opponent is Ole Miss. Statistically, Bama was way more impressive. AU 375 yards to OM's 464. Bama's 434 to OM's 205. Not to mention OM was coming off a bye week before Bama and AU faced them the week after Bama put a beat down on them.

Auburn can if they can keep JFF from get a lot running the ball. Neither Defense is going to stop the other Offense a lot. It is going to come down to which Defense can make a play every now and then. That seems to favor Auburn.

Auburn has the best CBs, best pass rush, and is the most efficient team at defending the pass that A&M will have faced. Meanwhile pretty much every team that has played A&M has moved the ball and scored at will and Auburn is the best offense they will have faced.

Doesnt Auburn have one of the worst pass defenses in the SEC.

That 20-3 halftime score against Ole Miss has made some of you Auburn fans aware of the potential and how much you have improved week to week.

Auburn has given up yards after playing a top 10 passing team and 2 more in the top 40 and giving up a busted play here or there. Half of which was without our best CB one of our top backups. That stats shows Auburn is more likely to break up a pass or pick it off than give up a huge play or TD.

So you only give up lots of pass yards to good passing teams. Good thing A&M isnt a good pasing team.

They are passing it a lot to garner those yards and not getting a lot of results. We are 11th in yards per game but 5th per attempt, second in td's allowed, 5th in ints

Bend but don't break. QB rating is 28th. 4th nationally in pass TDs allowed and you know about the scoring defense. Teams know they need to throw the ball a lot against Malzahn. Pass attempts are in the top 20, so there's that. But yeah, Bama is more efficient overall against the pass. Not by a wide margin though, and they get no penetration. 7 ints to Bama's 4.

Guess what? If a team throws the ball 60 times against us, they may put up some passing yards

Fyi, your defense is in the bottom half of all these categories.

Did I give off the impression that A&Ms defense could stop anyone? I'm just seeing a whole bunch of "Our defense is so good, A&M hasnt seen anything like it!". A&M might lose but it wont be because of your defense.
