Your obsessed with LSU. You are talking basketball here, remember LSU is NOT a basketball school so your obsessions should be UK or another basketball minded school!!!!

I think the depth could hurt in a few games.
Yep. Actually did hurt them in all four of the losses, the guys looked worn out, except for Quarterman. JJ needs to continue to get Malone in the game for 15-20 minutes as the season progresses. Some say all four of the Tigers' single-digit losses are "bad" losses. I disagree. Old Dominion still looks like a Tourney team. Mizzou in overtime was blown but it is a road venue known for being a tough place to steal a victory. Blown late leads against Clemson on a neutral court and aTm at home I do call bad losses, though aTm is a good team. I'm sticking by my pre-season prediction that LSU would go dancing. Still a lot of improvement needed to reach that goal.

When an Arkansas fan posts a thread about LSU, 99 times out of 100 it's a troll thread; that makes it diificult for any LSU poster to recognize a legitimate non-troll thread started by an Arky poster such as this one.
If Ark posters would leave the trolling to football threads only, LSU and Ark posters could actually have some decent discussions re basketball and baseball threads.

I thought the fact that I said

On a side note, Jordan Mickey is 2nd in the SEC with double doubles.

People keep saying depth is an issue yet almost every game another guy steps up. If we play a complete game with out TOs and shoot the 3 well while scoring in the paint and in transition we will dominate someone. We beat FL with good 3 shooting and transition play. Still we turned the ball over. If we do those 3 things well, we have plenty of depth. I kinda see what JJ is doing. He's playing our 7 footer against good teams to be physical under the goal and mixes in our good 3 point guards thru out the game. We have 10 guys that can put in legit minutes. Of course we aren't Kentucky but if we limit TOs against Kentucky I think we can beat them. We play pretty good as a team and LSU is starting to get their identity. Our 3 point shooters are getting better and better. GT

I think the team got a huge confidence boost from the Vandy road game. Would be awesome if LSU is the only Kentucky lose. We should have beaten Ta&m and it had nothing to do with depth. Absolutely nothing to do with being tired
I guess people don't actualky watch games but what happened was we shot the 3 so well we starting just shooting 3s thinking we had the game in hand. They did the compete opposite in the FL game and the Vandy game. TQ is much better at slowing the game down at the end than our other PGs. They learned a lot in that game and it won't happen again. The beginning of the season loses were due to our team not knowing who they were, and who to trust at any given point in the game. They are starting to realize who that is & who should be handling or shooting the ball at certain points. They are playing like a team. Get rid of the TOs and we have a top 10 team FACT!!! GT

I think M and M should stay one more year and I'm not being selfish in that statement. They would have a legit shot at a national title and maximize their potential in college. To me they haven't done that yet. It would also give both of them an idea of how they would look on an NBA team or at least closer than anything else they have seen anyway. They both would look much better on next years team and how many people can say they played in or won a national title in college? Not many plus it would help the school they represent and take the program where they wanted to in the first place by coming here!!! I know it's a long shot to stay but I hope they do. For everyone involved...... GT

Thanks for linking my thread you imbecile, worry about your program and quit lurking the LSU board with your obsession! Also as for you drew is go play your runescape and gtfo douche.

I think some people underestimate how hard it is to win a national title in college basketball. Just because you have a loaded lineup doesnt mean shite. Coaching and playing together as a team help. Look at the likes of UK,UNC,Duke,Arizona etc they are loaded with talent just about every year with a similar lineup we will have next year if M&M stay and they don't even make the elite 8. It's all about getting hot at the right time. We have a shot at a deep run in the tourney but chill out with the NC talk!
