The most important part of this is you are essentially admitting Bennett did much much better than Mathis

We don’t know how Mathis could have done if he had the support and opportunity that Bennett had. That’s the point. Then there is the way? Given Kirby’s track record with other AA QBs the question has to be asked if that was a factor in supporting a less talented, less gifted, less athletic QB.

You never gave us a number, but this nonsensical excuse making is you applying your beloved DEI to cfb.

A number for what? I have no interest in reading your mind. By the way any luck on other SEC schools with no black QBs the last 10 years? I gave you one.

You are getting lost in your nonsense.....

"How much extra credit are you giving him because of your DEI racism?"

You are excusing bad play because he is black.

You are downplaying good play because he is white.

Sigh, Dwan didn’t get a chance. Bennett had a year of mop up and 3 quarters the week before AND WASNT BENCHED. He was allowed to play with his limitations and inferior talent. Just like Kirby likes his QBs.

Dwan Mathis got chances. He got benched for another option at UGA.
Then he got benched for another option at Temple.
Then he got benched for another option at Davenport University (a division 2 school... not FCS).

I can't believe someone is making an argument that Dwan Mathis should have gotten to play more.

Mathis may have been a good recruit... but he needed brain surgery to remove a cyst before his freshman season. After that he proved repeatedly that he wasn't a FBS, FCS or division 2 starter.

Sm1 has always made irrational points that are easily refuted, but this DEI nonsense of his is by far the most pathetic and lowest he has gone.

A single quarter…. Where added a rushing aspect that was effective, moved the ball effectively early, but was plagued with no RB support and bad penalties.

He was not given a chance. He was set aside immediately, for a less talented QB. The question is why? What is Kirby’s obsession with passing over talented QBs for less talented, less athletic, less gifted QBs. Remember when the Wake Forest transfer QB that was a Heisman forerunner and Kirby brought in Daniels? Same situation. So that 4 AA QBs Kirby passed over.

This is big boy football. If you are unproven, you better not suck or else you are gonna get benched with quickness. Even more so is if you have high aspirations like UGA does.

His chance was 6 drives, and they were shite drives. His final drive was 0/2 passing + a dropped snap (his fault) for a 17 yard loss.

Rather than use your brain to understand this simple concept, DEI losers like you cry racism.

The better Qb won the job after the crappy QB stunk up the joint.

Meritocracy = The best PLAYER plays.

Thats how programs with national title aspirations operate., and this particular player decision led to back to back national titles. Zero chance we win either of those with Dwan.

I encourage you to use your racist DEI nonsense with your own program as coaching like a DEI pro would lead to many losses.

Why does he automatically say that Mathis was more talented. Just because he's black?
This shite is crazy

Turns out Stetson Bennett is why we don’t have ptsd when watching hurts. This angers the racist DEI mind of sm1

He hates uga so much, that he now embraces DEI as a coaching strategy in a thread about Jalen hurts and Stetson Bennett.

I understand why you are mad Jamie Newman quit before the season started.

After they brought in a less talented injury prone guy.

I don't think you are mad that we brought in JT Daniels.

You are mad because Jamie's decision to QUIT led to Stetson Bennett leading UGA to back to back national titles.

Thankfully Bennett didn't quit like Newman did.
