I am from Toronto,but have watched College Football all my life. It gets in your blood, lol.

We understand the language. It is "twangy", but the nouns and verbs are still there.

Pretty sure that was French territory with pelts and hides for fur coats in the 1800's.

Noone left in Louisiana is smart enough to learn another language. They barely speak English. It's what happens when you're the upper 48s septic tank I suppose.

There isn't many people from Louisiana that speak French anymore since it was outlawed in schools in the early 1900s.
