Is AR really considered to be that much better than Milroe? I don’t think Richardson should have been picked anywhere near where he was but this confuses me. Do the scouts just think his upside is that much higher and is he really that much of a better athlete than Milroe? I don’t see a huge difference between the two so why was Richardson picked so high?

Coaches figured that Napier sucks and that’s why Richardson sucked and that the my could fix him

DeBoer helped Penix get to the league and got to the national title game with him

So Milroe sucking with DeBoer looks worse since DeBoer had a track record of being a competent coach compared to sun belt billy

Milroe entire personality is selfish. He would rather see the team suffer just so he gets to live out his delusional dream. I don't fall for his politician nice guy act. His actions speak much louder.

NFL GMs fall in love with these dudes who are physical specimen and believe they can build them up based off their "potential". Absolutely mindblowing to me that AR went 4th overall despite only starting 13 games in college. Trey Lance pick is even worse but at least with him there was quantifiable production.

Richardson was huge

6’5, 244lbs. Very fast, with a cannon arm

He is much more physically impressive than Milroe (who is a more pedestrian 6’2, 225). It’s impressive that he is that fast at that size, but he’s not like AR. Richardson is actually a tight-end sized QB. Milroe is built more like an RB

I also think scouts preferred the offense Richardson played in, maybe it was more “pro style” than the one Milroe runs.

Still, Milroe is going to get drafted and will benefit from a weak quarterback class

Brother, you could suit up a blowup doll then put it behind center and it would be better than Milroe.

Exactly man, he didn’t even have that much experience. I can’t believe he actually got picked that high. I get the personality stuff with Milroe for sure but don’t forget AR freaking asked to come out of the game on 3rd down in the red zone I believe because he was tired. That’s probably not the guy you want leading your ball club, Milroe is a goober but would he do that? I’m not sure.
