Since Saban arrived at Alabama in 2007, the other 11 schools that were in the SEC at the time have had 34 different head coaches, including at least three different coaches at eight of the 11 schools.

You know that scene in Fifth Element where they fire the missiles at that giant ball of doom and it just gets stronger after? Yeah, it's sort of like that

You know that thread where you feel humiliated for the author because he doesn't know how humiliating his thread is.

The key words here are 'SEC' and '2007'. While I have no doubt many changes in the SEC can be fairly attributed to Saban's influence, the only way this statistic is useful is to go back 10 years to 2007 and look at coaching changes in all conferences, adjusting for the changing number of variables (i.e. different number of schools and use of a single school, Bama, as a benchmark) by finding the average number of coaches and throwing out the number from the university with the fewest changes (if Paterno had survived at PSU, for instance, you would have tossed PSU from the B10 metrics because they only had one coach, same as Bama.)

Sure but I don't want to do that work and this stat sounds impressive so I'll run with it

That's about as many 5*s players and coaches busted for cheating under Saban in that time frame too.

You just know the Barners have given up on their season when their tone shifts to this.

Fair enough. The denizens of tRant aren't generally appreciative of hard work unless it really makes their team look good or it includes a bunch of pictures of semi-clad women that they'd never get a shot at.

And you just know that the bammers know everyone is right about Saban dragging the sec down when they feel the need to change subject with dumb threads and run around upvoting everything each other says.
