Kinda like not having to listen to the Vandy whistler, the Tennessee alters will now go into hibernation until late summer.

Yep.... but the only thing they got was adding to the number of times they've been to a regional.
And honestly that doesn't matter... they end up with the same trip to Omaha this as LSU.

Not an alt, but I think Elander screwed up not pulling Frederick sooner than he did. I know he wasn't in the game long, but he threw nothing but wild pitches or meatballs. He loaded the bases looking like shite. I don't know why you leave him in there for another batter to extend the lead, and then decide to pull him. From what I saw of Frederick, it was pure hopium that he would get out of the inning.
Anyway, disappointing end to the season. As a life long Vols fan, I'm not going to let it ruin my day. We've historically been arse in baseball, and I feel very fortunate to watch the success we've had over the last several years. At least I can still watch the Braves cook.

Lol "Vols lost in the Regionals, it's basically the same thing as being preseason #1 and missing them entirely". Whatever helps you feel better.
