Looks like it will work out perfect. Nov 3rd is when we set our clocks back an hour. LSU comes to town 6 days later. Games usually last 3 -3 1/2 hours. Should be about twilight when the band fires up Rama Jamma in sync with the new LED’s.
If the LSU fans haven’t exited the stadium beforehand, they should hang around and watch the show.

The schedule that week is terrible.

Who spent more, Bama on the LED, or Auburn on the 2015 jumbotron? Maybe Jacksonville State can answer this.

maybe that's the deal alabama cut with the home office - they play more day games and refs never see egregious penalties committed by alabama on big plays, but do manage to spot ticky-tacs on the opposition when they have a big play.

because Alabama rarely does anything right which is why we are always at the bottom of any ranking.

Yeah ok, but at least we don't have to worry about our coach's buyout.

Even Bama bows to our NCAA/ESPN overlords.

Do you really think we are worried about buyouts? We aren’t LSU.

Yeah I really do. Auburn made the right decision because they simply can't get anybody better until Saban retires. I mean they could get lucky and get young "go getter" but no proven coach wants to recruit the same state as Saban. Career suicide is what that is called. So firing Gus and paying the expensive buyout just to replace him with another 7-5 coach would be dumb. Which is why I am surprised Auburn didn't do it.

If you’d like to see red lights check out the UGA ND game. UGA has installed LED lights too. With an 8 pm kickoff I expect we will be seeing them Sat night.

The melting on Twitter over this is comical.

Cecil Hurt tweet response

A sample:
quote:

Are they ever going to have a night game so the fans can see the new lights

quote:

We ain’t getting no night games this season. Ain’t this a treat. And to think y’all hyped up them damn LED lights and for what...nothing.

Would be interested to see medical research into the effects of a series of games in 90+ heat. Wondering how the excessive heat (and humidity) affects recovery time, performance over time, general well-being and strength.

When will these day games end ?!?!

Alabama plays day games because there are other teams in the SEC that are a more popular draw on tv.....even though Bama is the champion....no two ways about it....Bama is in Alabama.....so it has Auburn to contend with....and everybody loves to watch those Bayou Bengals on Saturday night.....plain truth. And besides...who wants to watch Saban act like a 10 year old that just had his candy bar taken away when he is winning 60-0.
