While ignoring the history and context of said word when used by white people and applied to black people by the way.

Can't stand the double standard in racism.

Imagine if Kaminsky would have said the same about Harrison.

How is my argument dishonest? Are you genuinely offended that Harrison called Kaminsky a ****?

So what's the line? Can other minorities say that word or just black people? Can someone 1/4 AA say it? What if I grew up in a black neighborhood and all my friends from childhood said it?

It's an offensive word no matter who uses it.

Never by white poeple
Sometimes by black poeple,
A- when used to converse with a brother Ok
B- when used in as a description of a person of another race Never unless you can get away with it.

You seem to have trouble reading basic sentences for comprehension. One thing that took a long time for me to understand was that people are individuals who hold different views than myself. It is wise to argue with the individual rather than with an argument I assume they are making or which I wish they were making because I feel I can refute it.

Your attempt to get me to restate my opinion in a fashion that you can argue with it is a clear sign of that problem. Deal with what I actually type out. Or quit responding. I'll be fine either way.

Anybody can say it. Like any and all words, you have to choose context.

For instance "that **** made the shite out of my coffee" by Louis CK was not received as racist

"there will never be a **** SAE, you can hang em from a tree but they'll never hang with me, there will never be a **** SAE" is uh, well a little racist

This concept isn't difficult.

Listen bro, you can spout off all this equality bull shite, but you just come off as a racist.

That total equality shite doesn't bother me because I already have it. I am give the same opportunity to better my life just like anyone else. Is it a tad bit harder? Maybe, but who is to say there isn't a white kid struggling to fulfill his/her dreams. I control what I do and if difficult situations arise along the way I just have to deal with them. I have experienced racism on varying levels, but I don't let it stop me from accomplishing the goals I have in life. I can't change a person no more than I can change the color of the sky. I have something that I learned from Jesus that will help anyone overcome difficult situations, and that is character. I don't blame others for my shortcomings, I blame myself because I control what I do.

What was the context? Was it a racially volatile or charged environment? Was it followed by the stereotyping of said "****'s" race, religion or other demographic? Would the word **** normally be offensive to the person being called "****" based on hundreds of years of use by an oppressive majority?

This accusation doesn't work any more. Played. I didn't read any of the rest of it. You're a lazy thinker.

Race threads on this site are a fricking embarrassment. It's shite like this that makes people think the south is full of dumbass rednecks.

How can you honestly sit here and defend the use of that word in any context is completely mind blowing. It is a completely vile inappropriate word. Someone asked earlier if a white guy is offended by its use and I can say regardless of race or age I am highly offended and do not associate with anyone who uses it even in a casual context!

Lemme guess, you think only the majority can be oppressive, bigoted, and racist because they are the majority? The minority can never be because of the fact they are a minority?

Are people really surprised a star athlete has been given special treatment over some no name fricks?

You are the one offering equality as if it is yours to give. If you don't want to treat blacks with respect than that is on you, but to offer "equality" by removing what you feel to be is a double standard makes you come off as pretentious and racist.
