Thank you. SAE was using it out of hate, don't want blacks in the frat, would hang blacks instead of letting them in. It wasn't just about the racial slur, the context of hanging a certain race. Now I know they were joking but they were doing it to be hateful.
Take the "n" word out and put blacks it'd still be bad for SAE.

I said it's about context, not intent. They aren't necessarily the same thing.

Doesn't change the fact that many of the people upset by this deep down are really just pissed that society has deemed words their parents and grandparents casually used as unacceptable. Who said mistreated. They were talking about murdering a black person for no reason. They'd rather murder an innocent black instead of let him in their frat. I know it was a joke but damn it's not that hard to figure out if you think about the lynchings in this country.
I promise you there would be an uproar if someone joked and sang about putting jews in an oven or giving them a acid shower. Now do you see what the fuss is over. Those are educated young men that'll be doctors, lawyers, judges, etc doing that.
