I agree. Kelly isn't a bad coach.

The potential problem with Kelly is that he just continues plugging through solid 9 or 10 win seasons but never seems closer to a true title contender.

That shouldn't be hard to attract top HC to LSU? I guess I was wrong about that.

This is the first year for Texas and Sarkisian in the SEC and Sarkisian was 13-3

And he still has a lower win percentage than BK.

Would be painful…but objectively hilarious if LSU fires BK and then steals Drink.

Honestly after LSU's horrendous three game losing streak this past season I thought he might get the hook at season's end. Tigers straightened up after that and won its last three and BK avoided the firing squad.

He’s not a great one, either. If LSU wants to win titles, then the coach will need to do better than 8/9 win seasons.

That’s the point of the article.

It’s been 3 years, the “rebuild from Ed O” narrative won’t fly anymore.

He might want to win a season opener at some point.

I am not surprised about this. I doubt he will be fired.
These two statements contradict each other.

Anyone putting BK on the hot seat for 2025 doesn’t have a clue…it’s not living in reality

Are you forgetting that Cajun Irish Bert has killed (or permanently disabled) damn near as many people as the 08-09 Florida Gatas?

Maybe that’s a factor why he may be gone?

Winning to start the season is vastly overrated.
