Do you think Ole Miss will trade Vandy for Florida as permanent cross opponent?
i would rather have Florida on the schedule than Vanderbilt right now. After last night, it is safe to say that Muschamp isn't as competent as James Franklin by a long shot.

LSU just cant beat Florida whereas Bama has won the last three against the Gator Guidos.

We can just make Jetiger an Arky fan and pretend this thread didn't happen.

Do you think he just assumed LSU was the only team to play each of the last seven BCSNCG winners? Or did he know better, and hoped no one would find out?

I'm sure Arky's squad this year made Bama that much more battle tested...

I don't know. But it boggles my mind a little bit. For every "greatness of other teams goes through LSU" type hypothesis he conjures, imagine how much time and research it takes for one to actually come true.

Does any fan base struggle as much to pat itself on its collective back as LSU fans do? Oh, and as for this gem:
quote:

LSU needs an Alabama win to prove that if LSU is not on your schedule in 2013, you cannot win the National Championship....

So the potential pool of 2013 national champions is limited to the teams on LSU's schedule? Does that include Furman?

Well no, because they don't play Arkansas, silly.

Had Florida not played Arkansas in the 2006 SEC Championship, they wouldn't have been able to leap-frog the other teams, so I'd say Arkansas is really as much of a key to this entire premise as any team.

It was almost Arkansas that kept LSU from going to the BCS in 2007, and if people remember in 2008, it was Arkansas that started Tebow's comeback rally after losing to Ole Miss.

An Alabama win means the National Championship has gone through Ole Miss for 6 years.

Apparently not. I'm sure he's outside taking pictures to prove that the moon follows him when he walks.
