Wait until you find out how drastically LSU fans changed their opinion on Nick Saban between 2003 when he led LSU to a national championship to 2007 when he accepted the Alabama job. It only intensified after 2009.
No fanbase in the history of sports ever turned on a coach like LSU fans did on Nick Saban.

Nowhere in the article did it say, "Alabama Judge Rules Signing Pro Contract Makes Player Ineligible, Supreme Court Affirms Ruling."
Also, the Supreme Court did not affirm that ruling (which was never made to begin with). Read the headline of the article again.

The short answer is it depends on the jurisdiction. A ruling by a Mississippi judge is not binding in another jurisdiction, and vice versa. People are assuming the ruling by the federal judge in Colorado is binding on the rest of the country. It is not. It means next to nothing in the SEC states.
