The permit's a damn joke. The permit is supposed to be submitted 2 weeks prior of the date requested. The permit was filed on Sunday. 
They also said "Please provide adequate police protection to insure the safety of participants."

There a psycho nutjobs in both fanbases. Most don't act on it, one of our's unfortunately did and when people get painted with a broad brush of association on one guy's actions, it tends to wear a little fricking thin after a while. Thus, you now see most of us joke about it because AU fans are going to call us "Updykes" anyway, so we might as well get under your skin if you are going to think that way anyway.
And now we have SOME AU fans threatening bodily harm over rolling the trees. But that's just fine with the AU fans that are the most vocal and outraged over the trees.
I have yet to see you or any other AU fan agree that
Bodily harm > poisoning trees > rolling someone else's trees

No, I don't support what Harvey did.

It's not that bad. Some trees took a little damage, but other than that not much going on. Those trees might even last about as long as they would have anyway (if people would stop distressing them with TP and cleanup).
