I wouldn't mind a shot at the SEC title. Not sure a two loss team could make it to the playoffs?

If a 2 loss team can get into the BCS championship game, a 2 loss team can definitely get into a 4 team playoff.

Kind of what I said. However, Not sure they would keep the SEC champion out of one either which is why there is a question tone to my original post. They would definitely have a difficult time if we had two losses and other teams only had one. It's probable AU would not go even as SEC champion.
