I don't either FWIW. I think they are both going to be good pros. People just love the fact that it takes 5 guys to bring Trent down and if a DB tries to tackle him the DB is going to get abused.

I just think it's dumb to automatically assume that Richardson will end up being a better back than Ingram.

He didn't get as many carries in those other games so that is an unfair comparison but what is true is that when teams contained or stopped Ingram they couldn't do it to Richardson. I love Ingram and think he is great but Richardson runs harder than any back on any team in the sec that I have seen all year, before it is over he will be the best back in the sec I think if he continues to improve

Richardson is def more powerful but he also doesn't have the lateral quickness and the shiftyness of Ingram. Both of them do things better than the other.

Ingram made a HUGE transformation from his freshman year to his sophmore year. IMO it's rare to see a player change so much from one year to the next. Richardson might be able to do it but it's not a given by any means.

obviously what you dont understand is TR is not going to have to make a huge transformation because is already almost there whereas last year Ingram wasnt. So, tell me then, why dont you think that TR will be as good as Ingram?

I NEVER said he won't be as good as Ingram. I said i wouldn't be suprised if Ingram ended up being the better back, and vice versa. I fully expect him to be as good as Ingram but to say without a doubt he will be better is stupid.

I think your reading comprehension is dumb.

Trent probably has more physical talent. It is extremely rare to find 230lb backs with breakaway speed and the ability to change direction/cut in traffic. If he improves every year he is here, he is going to be a nightmare for opposing DCs by his junior year. To assume this is going to happen is foolish though. The best we can do is hope. Some people let those two concepts bleed together and assume what they hope will happen is actually going to happen.

Not true.

vs Kentucky 14 Carries 26 Yards
vs South Carolina 5 Carries 13 Yards
vs Tennessee 8 Carries 18 Yards

Richardson will be just as good as Ingram next year IMO but he was not better this year. He just wasn't as consistant as Ingram was this year, which is expected considering he's a freshman.

I mean Ingram obviously had the better season, stats dont lie, but IMO if Richardson stays healthy, then I PREDICT that he will be better than Ingram.

This is perfectly reasonable. What bothered me was people saying that he WILL be better than Ingram.

Acl most of those carries were mop up or just resting Ingram. Two teams kept Ingram in check Ark and Auburn. Richardson could not be stopped in those two games. I agree Honk is just trying to be an a-hole but don't let his assholishness cloud your ability to think rationally

I've already mentioned this. My point though is that Ingram has done alot more with his carries this season than Richardson. It's just stupid to say Richardson was just as good as Ingram this year.
