You do realize that MuLLLen only had 1 season at Miss St with a winning record against the SEC (and he still couldn't beat powerhouses like Ole Miss and Georgia Tech that year).

Mullen ain't at State anymore.

This may be the year that leads to yall and Auburn switching divisions.

So yall would be fricked in that regard.

Nope...Aub. would accept the blame of ENDING the IB because TSIO won't disappear.

We'll just go back to two permanent cross divisional opponents and add another conference game.

This ain't that hard to figure out. we will all just have to lose a cupcake game.

Personally, I think only power five conference opponents should be allowed.

We are the SEC. Quit playing Div-1AA and G5 weaklings. We are better than that.

No. You are LSU.
If you cant schedule better, complain to your AD. Sounds like they arent fulfilling your needs.

UGA schedules fine, thanks.

Do you really want to compare schedules and opponents the past few years?

Do you honestly want to do that with LSU?

Fine.

this is from an SDS article five years ago:

quote:

No school has fared better in those games than LSU. The Tigers have played a league-high 60 games against ranked opponents in the last 10 seasons, dating back to when Les Miles took over in 2005, and they have the highest winning percentage (.650) in the conference to show for it. In that span, LSU has played seasons with eight and nine ranked opponents, in 2007 and 2011, respectively, and in those two years the Tigers went an astounding 15-2 in those games; LSU made it to the national title game in both those years, winning in 2007.

Here's the next paragraph:

quote:

Alabama (.635) and Georgia (.531) are the only other programs in the conference with winning records against ranked competition. The rest of the division clocks in below .500, although Auburn and Florida are both one game under in the last 10 years. Four of those five team mentioned in the last two paragraphs have won national titles in the last decade, which isn’t a coincidence.

ouch.
