All shite talking aside, I wish we played UGA more and I'm just excited to play them.

The 03 regular season game was amazing. The 08 game was pretty fun even though we lost (scored 38 points but lost by 2 TDs in a game Lee threw 2 pick sixes). The 09 game I think is an overlooked SEC classic (the celebration penalties were dumb and I dont agree with them). The 13 game was a no defense light show that was fun to watch.
Funnily enough, LSU/UGA has met in the SEC CG 3 times and all three were blowouts (03 and 11 going to LSU, 05 going to UGA). Seems these teams like to produce thrillers in the regular season but be one sided affairs in the SEC CG, even though 11 was close for a while until the Honey Badger did his thing.
But everything aside I'm just excited to play another game against UGA, a Big 6 SEC school we don't play very often and even less so now with this stupid schedule rotation. We dont have the storied history but everytime we meet there seems to be hype behind it.
And hey I guess if we want to play each other more we'll just have to keep meeting here in Atlanta more often. Cheers to a good game, Dawgs.

I totally agree
to go further back, the perfect game by Quincy in 1998 and chump bailey to eek out a win in death valley is, inarguably, the game that sent dinardo down the tubes
just an aside, that 1998 georgia game is in my top 3 as loudest tiger stadium games. it was insane- start to finish. that mofo Carter played the game of his career (albeit against a lou tepper defense) to upend us 28-27

I’m excited to watch two high quality football teams on Saturday. I hope lsu wins big but I know it’s going to be a fight.

There was a point where I would have agreed with this -- the SEC championship should be the top 2 SEC schools -- but Bama is not #2. Georgia easily is. They are the worthy opponent. We're getting the SEC ship game we all deserve.

I agree, Georgia is my 2nd favorite team in the SEC.
