LFs stats do not blow his out of the water. They're very comparable.

agreed, Hurd sat against UT Chatt and was out in the first Quarter against Vandy. 2 games sounds right to me.

if my aunt had a dick she'd be my uncle

I'm just saying the stats aren't really close

and LSU's line wasn't world beaters. Outside of La'el, they struggled quite a bit.

well how many carries did they each have? pretty close I'd think

eta LF only had 2 more carries than Hurd. He also had a few games where he barely played. He had 5 carries vs Arkansas.

Actually, they are.

Hurd had 994 total yards
LF had 1008 total yards

To be clear, I'm not saying Hurd deserves it over LF. Just saying Hurd should be in the conversation, especially with the disaster of an Oline he played behind. He was actually prolly the best blocker on the O

But we are talking about the RB spot on the All Freshman team. They don't take into account return yards and whatnot. Idk if they take reception yards when deciding on a RB spot, but if so, then yea, Hurd has an argument. But strictly stats as a RB LF only had 2 more carries and over 100 yards more rushing. That's an entire good game's worth of yards.

The stats are VERY close. I do agree Fournette deserves this honor ahead of Hurd.

Both are very nice players.

Anybody else enjoying LSU and Vol fan fighting over Nick Chubb's scraps?

Keep it up gentlemen, keep it up. I'm enjoying it. And, for the record, even though Hurd has a strong case, I give the edge to LF.

I watched Hurd play in high school his junior year (I grew up in Nashville when my parents moved) and I knew he was going to be a stud

he's a freak

meant no disrespect

I think it's the system moreso than it is actual talent. UGA has had a long line of spectacular college RBs, who are slightly below mediocre pros. That said, I think Chubb might be the one to prove me wrong.

Cool to see Ragnow make it. Figured Toliver had a better shot of making it than him but then again there probably aren't many freshman centers in the SEC playing significantly

Sorry, it's just in my nature to break Tennessee balls. If I don't, who will?

I wish y'all were more successful. Not because I want the best for you, but because it's pretty much down to Bama and an occasional UGA or UF fan hating y'all. The Vol Hate Train is running on fumes thanks to y'all being unworthy of hate lately.
