I missed where they were handing out the best MLB prospect award.

What happened to the Dunhurst kid at Ole Miss? I really thought he would show out this year. Has he hurt his draft stock? I like that kid.

Not what I was saying lol. Crews deserved this reward as well (obviously). If you think otherwise then by all means provide stats

Coach of the Year: Tony Vitello, Tennessee

Vitello: Took a team that went to CWS last year and won the SEC, while being ranked #1 most of the season.

Schlossnagle: 1st year coach who took a team that barely broke 0.500 last year and didn't even make its own conference tourney, started out barely over 0.500 going into SEC play, and now has them as division champions and #3 in the country in 2 different polls. (And, did it without a single 1st team All-SEC player.)

All credit to Tennessee for a great season, but if you are evaluating on what the coach had to do in 2022 to get their team where they are now, I think the needle tilts in favor of Schlossnagle.

Who did TN lose off that CWS team last year? Where was TN picked in the preseason? Where were they ranked in the preseason polls? This was a slam dunk.

Put it this way: The gap between the two programs right now is a hell of a lot less than it was in February.

Vols shouldn’t have any hitters on the list playing in that little league ball park.

How were VOLS pitchers able to pitch so well? Why were no other teams able to hit balls out of our high school park? That’s right, you’re just another low T tard hating.

No one expected Tennessee to do what they did this year. No one.
