No doubt Lipscomb was the best player on the best team , but his stats and Crews’ were nearly identical (though Crews did not get 30+ home games at Lindsey Nelson Band Box, and Crews was 1st team All-Defensive team as well). As far as DiChiara, his OPS was 1.343 and Lipscomb’s was 1.170 (big, big difference). So spare us the outrage. It’s silly. Any of the three were deserving.

Exactly. Best player on the best team with nearly identical stats (funny you didn’t mention the ones Lipscomb had the edge in) but wasn’t a co-SEC POTY. Makes sense.

Well, those lists tell me what I need to know about the state of Hogs baseball.
I'm not an Arkansas fan by any means but the 2 pitchers on the freshmen team is promising for the future.

You’re a Tennessee baseball fan and I’ve learned that means you don’t really understand baseball very well. So I’ll try and help. I stated Crews and Lipscomb have nearly identical stats (again with the fact that Lipscomb plays in a very hitter friendly park). OPS means On base percentage plus slugging percentage, which pretty much incorporates every important batting metric. DiChiara towers over both Crews and Lipscombin that area, and it really is impossible to argue against him having the best offensive season of any player. He does have significantly fewer RBI’s, because he has been pitched around more than any hitter in the league (he has almost three times as many walks as Lipscomb). Again your outrage is idiotic, but from you it’s expected.

They are but Nate Thompson the hitting coach needs to be fired for the hideous batting averages. If he isn't gone then DVH has thrown in the towel.

He objectively did not

Well that's just unfortunate then that he did

Vols shouldn’t have any hitters on the list playing in that little league ball park.

Wow, A&M wins the West without a single player on the first team. Schloss is a magician

Best player on the best team does not equal best player overall. Lipscomb is a hell of a player, but Crews’s stats would be insane with half of his games at Tenn’s park.

Thanks for confirming you never watched Lipscomb.

I have watched Lipscomb. Crews is better and MLB scouts agree lol. You know it’s possible for teams to have better players than you right?
