Not buying it. Here's the Longhorns drive chart for the second half of that game.
show me how many 3 and outs in the first half Texas had after Colt went out.

Yes because that 9 yards of offense Colt accounted for until he got blasted was so significant
You have a Heisman finalist that was about to put his team up by 10 points in the first quarter.

no way...Auburn would have dropped in the polls so fast.
I thought all the others outside of Oregon already had a loss, but I could be wrong

doesn't matter...voters were looking for a way to get rid of Auburn.

Not to mention Bama went vanilla in the 2nd half and they STILL had those avgs.

The OP is a stupid example. That's all.

TCU was undefeated. They would have gone to the BCSNC if Bama beat Auburn.

Absolutely. That was very frustrating to watch. It seemed like Saban got too comfortable with that lead and the vanilla offense came close to costing us big time.

ND will stuff the Bama run early in the game. This game will come down to Mccaron making plays.

If your aunt had a dick, she would be your uncle. You can play the "if" game all day long about virtually any football game ever played. The fact is we will never know how things would have played out with Colt still in the game. Even had Texas went up by 10, that isn't an insurmountable lead for Bama to have overcome and no doubt they took a different approach with Gilbert under center.

Just run the ball, something Bama should've kept with vs A&M

LSU too, that was frustrating to watch.

You can tell Nuss got a talking to after watching the Bama UGA results. With Bama's OL, we should be running the ball 75-80% of the time. And with Amari Cooper on the outside, bringing up safeties by our opponents would prove fatal. No one can cover Cooper one on one, especially anyone from ND.

He always steps away from the run when it's working, I don't know why. Cause it's usually positive yardage even when the opponent stacks the box

Nuss finally had his come to Jesus moment at halftime of the SECCG. In the second half, they just said this is what we're going to do, try to stop us.
I expect Notre Dame is fricked. The first series Nuss tries to get cute he'll probably get an earful. Run that rock

It is literally impossible to stop a Lacy run to right behind 6'6" 340 lbs. Fluker and a pulling top 10 NFL pick Warmack. This will be where Teo gets blown the F out by Warmack.

Do you think it was Nuss had a come to Jesus moment at halftime of the SECCG vs UGA or Saban telling him at half time to "Run the fricking ball"?
The game plan was so different in the 2nd half vs UGA I'm pretty sure Saban intervened and said "Run the damn ball."

I think so. I was re-watching a little bit of the first half of the Bama LSU game, and we were gashing them in the first half. And then, we just stopped. We have to get the ball into our RBs hands. They are two of the best players on our team. Feed them the rock.

It's gonna be a good matchup for sure
