Maybe in the short term. Their NIL game is way behind the other power teams. Saban was able to bring in guys without having to shell out major $$$. That’s gone for now. The days of Bama stacking 4 and 5 stars 3 deep are over.
DeBoer is a good coach but there isn’t anyway he is going to duplicate the last 15 years. It won’t be close.
LSU fans found this out when Skip retired. It’s impossible to replace the best to ever do it with another best to do it in succession.
