Agree with holding off on the rankings.

Bama beat a lot of good teams this year. The lack of a running game is shockingly bad and keeps them from being elite. Reminds me of all the other west coast teams that couldn’t win a slugfest with the big boys.

Ohio State losing calls the entire Big 10 into question? Then what did A&M's loss do for the SEC?

I’m not even sure what “conference brand” of football means anymore.

Players come from all over the country to play for a coach who was at Washington a couple of seasons ago. Does play style just get magically imbued by practice facility zip code? Or consumed through the tap water?

Look at A&M the last 5 years. They made progress this year getting into the CFP — but please. Nobody, including including A&M fans, thought A&M was likely to win a Natty this year.


Did you think A&M was even the best SEC team this year, or any year? I didn’t.
