Well, yeah, he proved to be better than Mahomes twice this season.

Comparing Burrow to Andrew Luck maybe would be more accurate than saying he could be what Manning and Rogers are.

He is a top 15 QB in the league
This is how we know you're trolling lol

Guy had the greatest season in CFB history and two years later took the Bengals (who most on this site would admit have been absolutely miserable and pathetic for the majority of their respective lifetimes) to the super bowl within 2 years after the franchise had the No. 1 overall pick.

You have to be "overly good" at quite a few things for that to happen

You're nuts. If he can stay healthy he's going to be the best QB in this era. He has the potential be a Manning or a Rogers and I wouldn't be surprised to see him be even better

He only got his team to the superbowl in his 2nd year with the 3rd worst offensive line of all time.

You guys realize Burrow is in his second year of the NFL, right? Playing QB. And he missed most of the first year. And went to the Superbowl and was pretty close to getting a trophy. The Bengals were horrible last year. I don't recall ever in the NFL this happened... horrible team goes to the Superbowl the next year with not even a full second year NFL QB starting.

Edit: and as someone else said, with one of the worst OL in the NFL.

This says more about you than Burrow, if we're being honest.

What’s wrong with being in the top 15? If he continues to progress he could reach Alex Smith levels.

Joe Burrow 2nd year
4,611 yards

70.4% completion
Passer rating 108.3
118 yards rushing
13-7 record including playoffs

Alex Smith 2nd year
2,890 yards
18TDs
58.1% completion
Passer rating 74.8
44 yards rushing
7-9 record

Cincy is ridiculously head of schedule, they were picked last in their division by everyone, they weren’t supposed to be there.

Wait till they get on schedule and they have a line.

They werent supposed to sniff postseason this year, joe got sacked 70 times in a season and lost by three in the Super Bowl.

Why can’t he? Burrow had better stats in his second year than Manning.

Wait does your dumb arse believe he’s better than them? Please tell me you’re not that retarded.

Joe was sacked 70 times this year
Josh Allen was sacked 26 times
Pat M was sacked 28 times

I am not saying Joe is better but just think how many more TDs or wins he has if he is only sacked 30 times instead of 70. I dont think Josh or Pat make it to the SuperBowl if they are the Bengals QB this year.

You left out the sneaky little detail about Bailey Zappe having 160 more pass attempts.
