the game's in Baton Rouge, not Memphis.

Are you saying Baton Rouge don’t have an issue with violent crime?

-Last year, the number of homicides in the capital region was more than 130. 46% of these cases still remain open/unsolved.

Devin Page Jr. - 3 years old, killed by stray bullet while sleeping.

-Allison Rice -21 years old, unarmed female LSU student shot and killed while sitting at train tracks

-Maddison Brooks- we all know this sad story, so no need to re hash it.

No, I'm not. I'm saying just go visit Memphis next weekend if you don't want to experience crime.

And stay the frick away from Baton Rouge. It seems to be getting less and less safe for you with each one of your posts.

If you’re staying at the casino and the Saturday game is early afternoon, go have dinner at Roberto’s on Saturday night.

It's more or less a straight shot to Alex Box Stadium, but like many have said, it is kind of isolated. Avoid Plank Road at all costs because, as much as I hate to admit it, there are now more places around LSU that just aren't safe; also, Walkons is within walking distance of the Box.

My advice VolNavy. Plenty of sunscreen for SAT. They have a ton of the metallic high school bleachers. The sun bounces off those fairly bad.

If you are there TH or FRI night. A bulletproof vest.

A bullet proof vest. Yea, there's so many shootings at & around The Box area. Beyond that, like any big city there are areas to avoid. Talked to a BRPD captain recently & he said "95%" of the shootings are gang related, a majority of those gang vs gang. " Park at WalkOns. many love it, many love it, leave your car there & walk, safely, to The Box. In the casino area, there is very little close by, by design by the owners, so unless gambling is your thing. not much there. WalkOns is basically a sports bar with fried food / burgers as the main entrees. Not bad, just not great, either but it is convenient to the ball park.

If you’re sitting in the outfield wear a helmet and prepare for an extremely depressing ride back home.

Just read some of this clowns comments. He’s not really coming, he just Googled a seating chart and places to stay.
Now he’s actually looking up crime stats LOL He’s hillbilly special for sure and has way too much time on his hands to be posting 24 hours a day
