apparently he gets 3 stars

That doesn't answer my question. He's obviously a good coach if he develops 3 stars into pro prospects, but can he convince 5 stars to come to Alabama (which AIN'T MISSOURI) and work under for him?...that's the question.

Bama does play about 50% (+/-) out of a 4 man front. Either a reduced 3-4 or with 4 DL. So schematically, there should not be much difference.

Less worried about line coaches being elite recruiters. He has shown he can recruit solidly. And his development of talent speaks for itself.

Dude our head coach is the best recruiter in the history of the sport. I quit sweating out recruiting years ago.

We also just upgraded recruiting at basically every spot but Pruitt's and possibly Ansley's.

Saban is damn tired of finishing 5-6 in recruiting. He has a chub on and is fixing to wreck shite.

Dude, your dumbass is showing. It takes recruiters to form relationships with recruits (SALESMEN) in this day and age and good recruiters that are good coaches are hard to find....Ask Saban what he'd give to be able to have Bo Davis back.

I disagree. You got any idea what the loss of Bo Davis was to our recruitment of D-linemen?

If he IS a solid recruiter, we should be good to go!

Gonna miss Pruitt. Another reason to hate those inbreeding, flea bitten Vols.

I have an idea of the mythology surrounding him since he was fired.

Who the frick are you?....Bender the Great or viceman? Have you got an alter going?
By the way, check where we ended up in recruiting this year and all the asst coaches/good recruiters we've lost in the last 2 years. Do you think it's a coincidence that Saban is revamping a staff that just won a national championship?

If he's coaching at Alabama I'd imagine he'll recruit just fine.

Our DL has also been pretty good since he left, so take that as you will.

Check our last 2 d-line recruiting classes, and look at where we are thin.
