Personally, I was not cool with our staff even offering him a scholarship. I realize that we had to have an insurance policy at LT, but if we had actually signed a 4 year left tackle prospect in the 08, 09, or '10 class we wouldn't have been in a position where we had to go and bring in Vanilla Ice.

We did. He's never lived up to the hype. LINK

Any chance he gets suspended, or will he just run some stairs and carry Saban around on his shoulders for a week?
Dude wasn't even in Saban's hands yet.

Yeah, I think he'll be a freshman this year. He was one of last year's grayshirts, if I'm not mistaken.

Since he isn't on Alabama's campus yet, and formerly with the Vols, the Fulmer Cup points must be shared between the 2 schools. Sorry UT, I am sure that is in the rules somewhere. 2.5 points to each.

He wasn't a member of the football team when he got the DUI. Like I said, Im sure there is a thin rope, but I don't really think you can suspend him or punish him for something he did while he was a recruit.

He was officially no longer a recruit. He had already signed to play for Bama.

Well, I forgot about him. Mostly because he is really forgettable. Dude was weak as shite even before he got hurt, and he has less of a mean streak than my grandmother.

He's gonna be madder than hell when he gets in BDS to play.. Yep..

You would think he would have gotten processed, but I'm not sure he's on scholarship

Maybe. But what he was doing in knoxville last spring was childs play compared to what the rest of the vol football players were doing.
We do what we can to uphold our reputation.

He wasn't in cahoots with Janzen and co right?
Hopefully he didn't beat that cop either.

From the link for Fulmer Cup purposes.
I don't know how that works out...I guess he had already signed?
Anyway, first offense DUI convictions in TN are the pits. In Alabama, probation and a fine plues 90 day suspension of driving privs is the norm.

If I ever get sent to jail, I want you to bail me out.

I could, but it would present an issue down the road. One may not give bond for a party upon which one seeks to represent.
