Alabama has had some great defenses over the years. So good that many people take them for granted and fail to realize and appreciate just how good they have been.

Thanks to that inept offense that was 0 of 12 on 3rd downs at a point in the game. Bama’s defense forced Clemson to punt 9 times in the game which was the most they punted in a game since 2014. Also forced 2 turnovers inside Clemson territory but which the Bama offense came away with 3 points and almost negative yards on the two drives.

Hell there's a lot teams that would be thumping their chests with just two 2nd and two third round picks off a defense.

Just the Clemson Offense. How many points did they score? How many Current NFL starters in the Offense?

Lol. Defense allowed 522 yards vs Ole Miss, 473 vs Arkansas, 511 vs Clemson. Any NFL offense would have rolled over that defense with ease.
